KOINOBORI PHOSPHO DEER (S)

Each new koinobori is an opportunity to offer an opening on Japan, its traditions, its symbols, its know-how. Koinobori ‘Deer’ refers to Nara`s deer, which is very popular in Japan. The city of Nara, located south of Kyoto, attracts tourists from all over the world. All of them wish to discover its park, which covers an area of more than 500 hectares. This park is the refuge of some 1200 fallow deer, who live in semi-liberty. Fallow deer are mainly concentrated in the park, but they normally walk around the area, making their little lives without caring about humans. With the Phospho-Daim koinobori, Madame Mo winked at them.

More about the koinobori
The koinobori, carp-shaped windsock, is a mythical object in Japan: it is the gift that we offer to little boys, and more and more to little girls, at the children`s party (Kodomo No Hi) May 5th.

Koinobori, an ethical and organic gift idea
